Aurum Mining plc (AIM: AUR) is giving an update to the market following the announcement made on 19 August 2008 in which it was announced that it had reached a settlement with the plaintiff in the civil case in which the Company's wholly owned subsidiaries Andash Mining Company and Kaldora Company Limited were named as co-defendants. 

The Bishkek Inter-District Court of Kyrgyzstan, which was expected to close the case on 25 August 2008, did not hear the case, which it is now believed will be heard on 3rd September 2008. A further announcement will be made in due course.
