  Acquisition of 10% stake in the Andash asset in the Kyrgyz Republic

Aurum Mining plc (AIM: AUR) is pleased to announce that, further to its announcement on 22 December 2009, the Company has now completed the transaction to buyback a 10% stake in the Andash asset from Investcenter Talas LLC (ITL).

As previously outlined, the Andash asset is now owned 80% by Kentor Gold Ltd with Aurum and ITL owning 10% each.
